Portfolio of Work

       "I have always loved learning new media and finding new ways to approach art making. I have a diverse portfolio that ranges in influences from Medieval illuminated manuscript painting to contemporary cartoons and comics. I love learning new processes whether they be a traditional or a contemporary medium. Much of my work is influenced by notions of play. It is inherent in both my working processes and my lifestyle. Play is a natural activity, one we begin experiencing before we can even communicate. It can even be seen throughout the animal world as basic and primitive forms of developing skills and social bonds. It is the essence of these moments that I want to capture and emphasize in my works."
